Iran's national poet Abu'l-Qasim-e Ferdowsi, grown during the Samanid period, lived until the Mongol period is considered the greatest, most talented poet of Iran. He has gained world fame with his masterpiece, the national epic of Iran Shahnama. Ferdowsi wrote Iranian history, heroism and mythology in a simple and fluent language until the period when Iran came under Arab rule in Shahname with this book revived the Persian regression during the Samanid period and revived the nationalist spirit. Ferdowsi outstanding talents, adherence to Iranian culture and values, patriotism, originality, wisdom and the only vocabulary of Persian language accepted Shahname was praised by great Iranian poets such as Sanai-ye Ghaznawi, Hakani-ye Shirvani, Anveri-ye Abeverdi, Nezami-ye Ganjavi. Malekoshoaara Bahar a poet, writer, journalist, historian, researcher, translator and politician, is one of the greatest celebrities of contemporary Persian literature praised Ferdowsi and Shahname in his poems with three ode and a mathnawi which expresses his deep love and devotion to Ferdowsi by name of Ferdowsi, Aferin-e Ferdowsi, Kullu’s-seydi fi cavfi’l-fera and Naksh-e Ferdowsi. In the study after brief information about the lives of Ferdowsi and Malekoshoaara Bahar thirty-eight couplets of Persian ode titled Ferdowsi which Bahar praised Ferdowsi was translated into Turkish and annotated.
