The study assessed the interaction effects of organizational climate as a key moderating variable on socio-psychological factors that influence levels of job satisfaction among academic staff of universities in Ghana. The descriptive sample survey design was used and a stratified proportional random sampling procedure was employed to select a total sample of 376 academic staff based on rank and gender. The Linear Multiple Regression Analysis Procedure was used for the analysis of data and the result showed that organizational climate is a key moderating variable for job satisfaction among academic staff of universities in Ghana. It was recommended that stakeholders in higher education should make pragmatic efforts to create conducive organizational climate in their institutions.
