Yeni iletişim teknolojilerinin gelişmesi ile hayatın her alanında olduğu gibi sinema alanında da değişim ve dönüşümler yaşanmaya başlamıştır. Söz konusu değişimlerden bir tanesi de sinema izleyicisinin seyir tercihleri buna bağlı olarak da film izleme pratikleri üzerinde olmuştur. Önceleri salonlarla sınırlı olan sinemasal deneyim, şimdilerde fiziki ortamda sinema perdesine ihtiyaç duyulmayan bireysel alanlarda da kendisini göstermektedir. Bu çalışma ile gelişen teknoloji bağlamında sosyal medyanın sinema seyircisi üzerinde nasıl bir etkisi olduğu araştırılmıştır. Bu bağlamda 2017 yılında gösterime giren ve bir komedi filmi olan “Aile Arasında” ile 2018 yılında gösterime giren ve sanat filmi olan “Kelebekler” filmlerinin sosyal medyadaki yansımaları ele alınmıştır. Her iki filmin de Twitter, Ekşi Sözlük ve İnci Sözlük’teki yorumları incelenerek sayısal bir tablo sunulmaya çalışılmıştır. Değişen seyir deneyiminin konu edinildiği bu çalışma ile yeni iletişim teknolojilerinin sinema deneyimi ve film izleme pratikleri üzerindeki etkisi ortaya konmuştur.
With the development of new communication technologies, as in all areas of life, changes and transformations have begun to occur in the field of cinema. One of these changes was the viewing preferences of the film viewers, as well as the practice of watching the film. The film experience, which was primarily limited to the halls, is present in the individual areas that do not require a film curtain in the physical environment. This study has been researched in the context of technological developments how social media has an impact on the cinema audience. In this context, the reflections on social media of the films "Kelebekler", which came into exhibition in 2017 and was a comedy film "In between the family" and the art film "Kelebekler", which came into exhibition in 2018. Both films have been tried to present a numerical picture by reviewing the comments on Twitter, The Exotic Dictionary and The Pearl Dictionary. This study, which is the subject of changing travel experience, has revealed the impact of new communication technologies on the film experience and film-seeing practices.
