The term “law” in Turkish is the plural form of the term “right” in Arabic. In every period of the history, law has been appeared in the frame of the rules which are made by the owner of the “right”. In that sense, people who have the power had the “right” of predicting and regulating the interactions. Since the day human beings exist, the term “law” has been changed and became varied. Under the main title of human rights, numbers of “rights” categories were appeared; such as social rights, political rights, and solidarity rights. That study is examining the urban transformation processes by using the perspective of “right to the city” which is one of the newest subcategories of the solidarity rights. Examining the urban regeneration processes, which is also one of the most popular public debates in our country, is highly significant and necessary. There are numbers of mistakes we can observe in urban regeneration processes; such as absence of well-organized plans and ignorance of the public expectations. Because of these mistakes, urban regeneration processes violate the human rights. As a result, there is an urgent need for thinking about these human right violations, creating solutions and policymaking before these violations destroy the basic characteristics of the cities. Cities cannot be defined as the areas that protect the rights of the powerful ones. Cities have to be the areas that create and support the togetherness
