The aim of this study was to determine pre-service physical education teachers’ and the other pre-service teachers’ efficacy perceptions and their attitudes toward teaching profession and to display, in a comparative way, whether these perceptions and attitudes acquire a different character according to the independent variables obtained through personal information of students. 411 pre-service teachers from different departments at 4th grade took part in the study, 48 of whom are from Physical Education and Sports Department. ‘Efficacy Perception Scale of Pre-Service Teacher’ and ‘Attitude Scale Related to Teaching Profession’ were used to collect data as the instruments in the study. The findings of the study showed that there were significant differences between pre-service teachers’ both efficacy perceptions and attitudes toward teaching profession and their departments, and pre-service physical education teachers’ efficacy perceptions and their academic success level and between other pre-service teachers’ attitudes toward teaching profession and their gender. Also, positive correlation at medium level was observed between both pre-service physical education teachers’ and the other pre-service teachers’ efficacy perceptions and their attitudes toward teaching profession.
