Bu çalışmada özel eğitim öğretmen adaylarının “özel eğitim öğretmeni atama” yasa ve yönetmeliklerine ilişkin görüşlerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu kapsamda çalışma beş farklı Özel Eğitim Lisans Programlarına kayıtlı 4. Sınıfa devam eden 259 özel eğitim öğretmen adaylarıyla yürütülmüştür. Katılımcılara özel eğitim alanında gerçekleştirilen yasal düzenlemelere yönelik görüşlerini belirlemek amacıyla araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen 16 sorudan oluşan bir ölçek formu uygulanmıştır. Toplanan veriler analizinde SPSS-23 programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler; frekans, yüzde, aritmetik ortalama, standart sapmaları hesaplanarak tablolar halinde sunulmuştur. Araştırma sonucunda çeşitli bulgulara ulaşılmış ve alanyazın çerçevesinde tartışılmıştır. Öğretmen adaylarının büyük çoğunluğunun üniversite tercihlerinde özel eğitim öğretmenliğini ilk beş sıraya yazdıkları görülmüştür. Bunun nedeni olarak, öğretmen adaylarının büyük bir çoğunluğu özel eğitim bölümünü tercih etmelerinde özel eğitim alanında devletin ve özel sektörün sunduğu iş imkânlarının etkili olduğu görülmüştür.
This study aimed to identify the views of pre-service special education teachers on the laws and regulations about "special education teacher appointments". In this context, the study was conducted with 259 pre-service special education teachers enrolled in five different Special Education Undergraduate Programs. A scale form consisting of 16 questions developed by the researchers was applied to the participants to determine their views on legal regulations in the field of special education. The data collected were analyzed using the SPSS-23 program. The data obtained were presented in tables showing frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean, and standard deviation. The various findings obtained in the study were discussed within the framework of the literature. The majority of pre-service teachers had placed special education teaching among their top five preferences to study. A reason for this was that the job opportunities offered by the state and the private sector in the field of special education had an effect on the majority of pre-service teachers’s preference for the special education department.
