Abstract:

Abstract The following text is characterized as a bibliographical research, in which its objective reflects the relations involving the production of social representations on the culture of movements/Physical Education in accordance to the centrality of television media in the organization of children's everyday life and the manner, in which their experiences have been configured this context. These informations and images of contents and topics of the culture of movements that compose a variety of genders and TV shows - particularly those addressed to a infantile audience - can be constituted of representations that end up colonizing children's imagery.
