Bu çalışmada üniversite eğitimi gören gençlerin, toplumsal cinsiyet rolüne ilişkin algıları ve tutumları araştırılmaktadır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda Selçuk Üniversitesi Sağlık Bilimleri Fakültesi Sağlık Yönetimi, Sosyal Hizmet, Beslenme ve Diyabetik bölümlerinde öğrenim gören son sınıf öğrencileri basit tesadüfi örneklem tekniğiyle seçilmiş; “Toplumsal Cinsiyet Rolüne İlişkin Tutumları” ölçeği ve sosyo-demografik anket formu ile ölçülmüştür. Araştırmaya 52 (% 29,5) erkek; 124 (%70,5) kız toplam 176 öğrenci katılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler, ortalama değer ve yüzdelikler gibi betimleyici istatistiklerle; Ki-kare testi (Chi-Square), t-testi (independent samples t-testi), Anova testi gibi fark testleri ile değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre; öğrencilerin genel itibariyle toplumsal cinsiyet rollerine ilişkin geleneksel tutuma sahip oldukları, öğrencilerin toplumsal cinsiyet rollerine ilişkin tutumları ile cinsiyetler arasında anlamlı ilişki bulunduğu, öğrencilerin ailelerinin gelir düzeyleri ile toplumsal cinsiyet rollerine ilişkin tutumları arasında anlamlı farklılığın olmadığı, öğrencilerin ailelerinin aile tipi (çekirdek, geniş, parçalanmış) ile toplumsal cinsiyet rolleri tutumları arasında anlamlı farklılığın olmadığı, ayrıca öğrencilerin okudukları bölümler ile toplumsal cinsiyet rollerine ilişkin tutumları arasında anlamlı farklılığın da olmadığı belirlenmiştir.
This study examines the perceptions and attitudes of young people who attend university education about the role of social gender. In accordance with this objective, the final class students studying in the Department of Health Management, Social Services, Nutrition and Diabetics at the Selçuk University Health Sciences have been selected by simple random sampling technique; the scale of "Social Gender Role Attitudes" and the socio-demographic survey form have been measured. The study included 52 (29.5%) men and 124 (70.5%) girls with a total of 176 students. The obtained data is evaluated by illustrative statistics such as average values and percentages; Ki-quare, t-test, independent samples, and Anova test. The study found that there were no significant differences between the students’ families’ income levels and the students’ attitudes to social gender roles, there were no significant differences between the students’ families’ family type (core, wide, divided) and the social gender roles, there were no significant differences between the students’ attitudes to social gender roles and the students’ attitudes to social gender roles, there were no significant differences between the students’ classes and the students’ attitudes to social gender roles.
