Abstract:

This study aims to study the relationship between women’s self-double and integrative self-consciousness levels. It has also been studied whether the levels of self-consciousness that women integrate with self-discrimination vary or not according to the psychological problems of living, receiving psychological assistance, civic status, place of residence and monthly income variables. Research is a study in the visual scan model. The data is collected online through the sample method of the cartouche.  The study included 274 single women and 382 married women. Data collection tools have been used as Personal Information Form, Identity Twin Measure, Integrative Identity Awareness Measure. In the study, Pearson Correlation, One Direction ANOVA, T Test for Independent Groups were applied. Research findings have shown that there is a meaningful relationship in the negative direction between women’s self-double and integrative self-consciousness points. Psychological problems in terms of life and civilized condition, women have a statistically significant difference between the total self-double and the sub-dimensional points of self-double; according to the place where the majority of life is spent, there is a significant difference between the points of integrating self-consciousness; according to the monthly income, between the points of integrating self-consciousness and social acceptability, and according to the situation of receipt of psychological assistance, there is a significant difference between the points of value-double. The findings obtained were discussed in the light of the relevant literature.
