Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to study the scientific consulting process and developments in the preparation of the project with the project-based learning approach of the teachers of science. The research is designed as an action research. The application of the research was carried out in the 2017-2018 educational year with 2 teachers of science and 11 students in a private school in the province of Eskişehir. The research data, the teacher’s pre-information form, the researcher’s diary and notes, video recordings, student project reports are collected. The quality data collected was analyzed through the tuberculosis analysis. From the data collected, in the beginning of the step of action, the teachers found out how they developed and implemented their action plans against the difficulties and difficulties they encounter in the process of action. It has been found out what the teachers’ opinions about the action plans are. It has also been obtained findings on how action plans reflect on student activities. The research has found that the practices performed have contributed positively to the professional development of teachers. The development of the action plans for the scientific consulting process has made a positive contribution to being planned, gradual and practical. The discussions of the teachers’ behavior they will show about scientific advice in meetings have contributed to the teachers in a positive direction. Teachers have achieved the conclusion that they need training and guidance in the preparation of the project. Teachers have achieved difficulty in the main project preparation, subject determination, reporting, time, material and school management issues.
