Bu çalışmada, Hindistan ve Türkiye’de faaliyet gösteren bankaların finansal oranları dikkate alınarak ülkeler ve sermaye sahipliğine göre bankalar arasındaki farklılıklar araştırılmıştır. Çalışma, 2005-2017 yılları arasını kapsamakta olup, Kredi/ Mevduat oranı, Faiz Geliri/ Toplam Varlıklar, Net Faiz Marjı, Faiz Dışı Gelir/ Toplam Varlıklar, Aktif Karlılığı oranı ve Öz sermaye Karlılığı oranı olmak üzere toplam 6 oran dikkate alınmıştır. Banka grupları arasındaki farkları belirlemek için t testinden yararlanılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonucunda, Türkiye’deki ve Hindistan’daki bankalar arasında Kredi/ Mevduat oranı, Faiz Geliri/ Toplam Varlıklar, Net Faiz Marjı, Aktif Karlılığı ve Öz sermaye Karlılığı oranları açısından anlamlı farklılıklar olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bununla birlikte, Faiz Dışı Gelir/ Toplam Varlıklar oranı bakımından ise farklılık bulunmamıştır. Ayrıca bankalar sermaye sahipliğine göre karşılaştırıldığı durumda, tüm oranlar açısından anlamlı farklılıkların olduğu bulgusuna ulaşılmıştır.
In this study, the differences and similarities between Indian and Turkish Banks in terms of country and capital ownership by financial ratios have been investigated. The study contains the years 2007-2017 and six ratios have been used; the loan/deposit ratio, interest income/total assets, net interest margin, non-interest income/total assets, return on assets (ROA) and return on equity (ROE). The t-test has been used to determine the differences between the ratio. As a result of the study, there have been significant differences on loan/deposit ratio, interest income/total assets, net interest margin, return on assets (ROA) and return on equity (ROE) between Turkish and Indian banks, on the contrary, there have been no significant differences on non-interest income/total assets. In addition, there are remarkable differences on the contribution of varieties terms of all ratios.
