In this article, the nutrition culture of people living in Rodoscuk/Tekirdag located in the north-western part of the Sea of Marmara was discussed. The basic source to determine which products were widely consumed is narh registers. As it is known, narh means the upper limit of the prices of goods and services determined by the state by taking the opinion of the trade orga- nizations. Narh registers, as they contain the lists of the goods in the market, are included in Şeriyye (Court) Registers of the relevant kaza. The products in the narh lists of 1638-1730 were classified according to their types and evaluated in titles. In this research, the variety of foodstuffs in Rodoscuk market, as reflected in the narth registers, were compared to the products consumed especially in Istanbul and the palace because of its closeness and thus revealed that there has not been any significant change from the beginning to the end of the period handled. Another result is that American foods have not yet entered in the markets of Rodoscuk.
