Love is a concept that has a wide place in Sufi literature, both divinely and metaphorically. As Mevlana suggests that love is different and has functions, Mevlana regards figurative love as a means to real love. Since metaphorical love is a tool for divine love, it can change into divine light and beauty, as it can be seen in Mecnun. Therefore, the ephemeral love mentioned metaphorically Even if it loses its mystery when the beloved reaches it, it is a means of true love. According to Mevlana, reasoning in terms of love is insufficient for the secrets and truth of love. Reasoning by human mind is also incapable of leading to true love. As Mevlana refers to the stages of maturation from metaphorical love to true love, He regards suffering as maturation, attraction as getting closer, and love as the door of salvation. Although divine love is the fragrance of truth, people keep looking for this fragrance especially in juz'iyyat. Moreover, rigorous deeds are required so that divine love could be awakened on various occasions. In this sense, love that results in reaching perfection is the true manifestation of Allah.Therefore, this kind of love that leads to perfection has an important place in Sufi literature. The important thing for the lover is not the reunion, but the love itself. If love is a goal, the paths to love arediverse. Expressing that metaphorical love is a high value and goal rather than being a means of lust and desires, Mevlânâ describes divine love intertwined with human love. Reaching the Truth and reaching divine love with sincere and perfect human love is the perfection in which nothing but the One can be seen. This love, which is perfected in Mevlânâ's descriptions, has an important place in Sufi literature. The beauty created by Allah is manifested in His servants. For this reason, Rumi's "Love is for material assets or for others. Know that he will lead you to Him" is an indication that the lover's reaching God is a bridge to the truth of metaphorical love. According to Mevlana, love is a metaphysical experience that has existed in eternity and will exist in eternity, and is the only state that provides the formation of the universe. However, the obstacle in front of this love is the partial mind falling into the whirlpool of the soul. Partial reason is incomplete because it is confused and consists of imitation, and it poses a problem in understanding divine love. This study aims to evaluate the process and possibility of the disappearance of the beloved in terms of Mevlânâ's understanding, despite all the difficulties they encounter in their ordeal-filled lives.
