Abstract:

It is important to record the current status of natural areas, to increase their recognition, to control the use of the areas for sustainable tourism. The study has been prepared to protect and to develop the natural and cultural tourism potentials of Misi Village. Misi Village is an important place in rural landscape areas. Within the scope of the research, the opinions of the local people and visitors were taken and a survey was conducted with 92 people from the local people and 100 people from the visitors. As a result of the study, suggestions have been developed for the area. The study will contribute to the literature in terms of the suitability. The determination and evaluation of rural tourism potentials, and the development of these will be an example for similar studies. As a result of the study, identifying the problematic points and producing solutions will give ideas to the people of the region and local administrators.
