Due to high women workforce ratio, tourism sector causes to have "woman-intensive" feature as well as "labor-intensive" feature. In the study, the perception of the performance level of the female workforce in the accommodation establishments, which is one of the important employment-generating factor of the tourism sector was examined and aimed to determine the differences of the performance according to demographic levels of women. The study includes an exploratory research using quantitative data collection methods. A survey was conducted with 157 women working in 58 accommodation companies operating in Edirne provinces and districts. Findings shows that there are important differences in perceptions of performance levels of women according to their demographic levels. It was determined that the perception of performance level of single and undergraduate graduates was higher. In addition, the level of motivation of the employees in housekeeping department is than lower others and the performance decrease as the working period increased in tourism sector.
