Abstract:

The main purpose of this research is to examine the relationship between school principals' instructional leadership behaviors and organizational culture, and how instructional leadership behaviors and organizational culture differ according to demographic features. The research was relational survey model and random sampling method was used in the study.The sample of the research consists of 416 volunteer teachers working in official primary, secondary and high schools in Kırşehir province in the 2021/2022 academic year. Instructional Leadership Scale developed by Alig-Meilcarek (2003) and adapted to Turkish by Şahin (2011), School Culture Scale developed by Terzi (2005) and a personal information form were used to collect data. The differentiation status of the researchers according to gender and education level was examined with the t-test, and the differentiation status of the type of school, year of service and working time at the school was examined with the ANOVA test. The relationship between the instructional leadership behaviors of school principals and organizational culture was examined through the Pearson Correlation analysis. As a result of the study, a high, positive correlation between the instructional leadership behaviors of school principals and organizational culture was observed.
