Abstract:

The aim of this study is to determine the views of foreign teacher candidates regarding their education in Turkey. 31 foreign teacher candidates who study at Education Faculty in Anadolu University participated in the study, which is designed by adopting a qualitative research design. The data were collected using an open-ended questionnaire, and descriptive analysis technique was applied in the analysis of the collected data. The results of the study revealed that foreign teacher candidates, who came from different countries, see Turkey as a beautiful country; preferred Turkey since it has cheap and qualified education opportunities; think that the education offered in Turkey is positive; claim that the biggest problem they faced during their education in Turkey is about “Turkish Language”, and they expect to be supported on Turkish and be given some kind of privileges about it.
