Bu çalışmanın amacı, Türkiye’de başlangıç düzeyi çalgı öğretimi alanında yapılan lisansüstü tezlerin incelenmesidir. Bu bağlamda son yirmiiki yıl içerisinde yapılan 26 adet lisansüstü tez çeşitli açılardan gruplandırılmıştır. Bu araştırma, nitel bir araştırma olup veriler doküman incelemesi tekniğiyle toplanmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemi amaçsal örnekleme stratejilerinden biri olan ölçüt örnekleme ile belirlenmiştir. Ulaşılan tezleri incelemek üzere araştırmacı tarafından çalışmanın amacına yönelik bir “Tez İnceleme Formu” geliştirilmiştir. Verilerin çözümlenmesinde frekans (f)’tan yararlanılmış ve veriler grafikler üzerinde gösterilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda başlangıç düzeyi çalgı öğretiminde makamsal müzik icrası alanında 12 farklı üniversiteden toplam 26 adet tezin yürütüldüğü, tezlerde çalışma grubunun sıklıkla yaylı enstrümanlar olduğu, tanımlayıcı ve fark istatistiklerinden faydalanıldığı, tezlerin büyük bir bölümünün herhangi bir destek alınmadan yapıldığı ve çalışma alanı olarak Türkiye genelinde çok az sayıda kurumda çalışmaların yürütüldüğü bulunmuştur.
The aim of this study is to study the postgraduate theses conducted in the field of play education at the beginning level in Turkey. In this context, 26 postgraduate theses made over the past twenty years have been grouped from different points of view. This research is a qualitative research and the data is collected using the document examination technique. The sampling of the research is determined by the standard sampling, which is one of the target sampling strategies. A "Tesis Review Form" was developed for the purpose of the study by the researcher to study the dissertation. The data processing uses frequency (f) and the data is displayed on the graphs. The research has found that a total of 26 theses were conducted from 12 different universities in the field of public music execution in the teaching at the beginning level of play, the theses were frequently spread instruments, the identification and differentiation statistics were used, the majority of the theses were conducted without any support and the work area was conducted in a very few institutions throughout Turkey.
The aim of this study is to examine the postgraduate theses/dissertations in the field of the musical instrument teaching to beginners in Turkey. Within this frame, 26 different postgraduate theses/dissertations written up in the last twenty-two years have been classified in various aspects. This research has been conducted as a qualitative research and all the data have been gathared through document analysis method. The sampling of this research was determined in criterion sampling, which is one of the purposive sampling strategies. To examine the theses/dissertations reached, the researcher has produced a “Dissertation/Thesis Review Form” for this study. The analyses of the data are based on the frequency (f) and the data are shown on the graphs. As a result of the research, the following conclusions were appeared that 26 theses/dissertations from 12 different universities were conducted in the instrument teaching for the beginner level in maqam music system, the groups studied were mostly included the stringed instruments, using descriptive and difference statistics, most of the theses/dissertations were conducted without any support and the studies in this field were being carried out in very few institutions throughout Turkey.
