Başvuru anındaki veson andaki görme keskinliği Snellen'in görme keskinliği çizelgesi kullanılarak kaydedildi.
Purpose: to examine 53 eyes of 53 patients appliced due to an open globe injury between 01.01.2014 and 01.05.2017 as retrospective from an epidemic point of view. Method and method: Patient information was recorded by scanning patient files. The patient’s data was in the form of age, gender, type of trauma, location and form of the trauma, and which is the favourite. The vision accuracy at the moment of the application was recorded using Snellen’s vision accuracy chart. Biomicroscopic examinations, which also covered the findings of Dilate fundus, were detailed. Results: 43 of the patients (81.1%) were male and 10 (18.9%) female. In comparison with gender, open-glob trauma was statistically higher in male patients than in female patients (p<0.001). With the age of patients, the incidence of open globe injuries has decreased. 54.7 percent of the trauma were work accidents, 22.6 percent were home accidents, 7.5 percent were traffic accidents, 13.2 percent were out of home and work, and 1.9 percent were sports accidents. The results of the treatment of open-global injuries are not face-to-face laughing for patients and the majority of this type of injuries are caused by preventable causes. The importance given to work safety and education that will increase the awareness of the community about this could reduce the rate of such injuries.
