With the increasing use of social media, daily life practices have started reflecting on social media, and these practices have begun to be experienced on social media platforms. One of the phenomena in which this reflection is intensely observed is religion. It is observed that content about 'Friday' day, one of the days considered sacred for Muslims, is produced on social media. To what extent the realized shares represent Fridays is a matter of debate. The study aims to determine the quality and quantity of the shares containing Friday greetings through hashtags. With this purpose, 2500 pieces of content belonging to different user profiles via hashtags were taken as a sample and examined by the content analysis method. Content categories are grouped into religious and non-religious categories. The number was almost half between the religious-qualified and non-religious-qualified groups examined. It has been determined that the content category, which is shared the most, belongs to the group of objects that do not have a religious nature with the scarcity of content produced by taking verses and hadiths into account. It was determined that men share more Friday greetings than women. Users include photos and images, such as people, animals, food, and clothes when the shares are not religious.
