Abstract:

During the Ottoman Empire and the Early Republic, hospitals in the capacity to meet the needs began to be constructed with a new understanding. During the period; war and epidemic diseases affect the place and forms of hospitals. However, due to the period in which it was found; causes such as financial difficulties and staff deficiency (or even lack of staff) have made the establishment of hospitals difficult. In contrast to disadvantages, there was an existing struggle to contribute to a national solidarity struggle. This situation has contributed to the culture of the hospital; solidarity and multiculturalism. The study is considered as an examination of the first civil hospitals in the Turkish geography; their social, social and healing effects and their reflection on today’s hospitals. In the historic process, the sensitivities and spatial formations of hospitals in the center; especially in Ankara, have been assessed by the modern hospital reflections. As a result, in the footsteps of the past, it is aimed at discussing the cultural existence or disadvantages of modern health needs. It is expected that this way will contribute to future hospitals in a social sense.
