The Turkish-German relations, which started to develop at the end of the nineteenth century, were interrupted after the First World War, one of the most destructive wars witnessed in its history. This interruption lasted until the Turkish-German Friendship Treaty was signed in 1924, after which a revision period was entered between the two countries. As one of the results of this period Türkische Post (Turkish Post) newspaper is a daily newspaper that started its publication life in Istanbul between 1926-1944 and continued for eighteen years. The target audience of the newspaper, whose publication language is German, includes German citizens living in Turkish territory, as well as some German-speaking intellectuals, deputies, officers, businessmen, and citizens among the Turks. The main purpose of the newspaper has been to revive and develop the economic, political, cultural, and military relations between Turkey and Germany. The news published in the newspaper was mainly focused on the Republic of Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, and the Middle East. In this study The view of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk from the eyes of a German newspaper published in Turkey has been tried to be reflected and evaluated within the framework of some issues.
