Bu çalışmada, gitarın müzik derslerinde ezgi ve eşliği birlikte seslendirebilen bir çalgı olarak, etkin bir biçimde kullanılması gerektiği tezi savunulmaktadır. Araştırmada seçilmiş okul şarkılarının gitara uyarlanması ve bu uyarlamaların müzik derslerinin niteliğini artırmaya etkisinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda gitara uyarlanmış okul şarkılarıyla planlanmış müzik derslerinin öğretmenlerin gitar çalgısına ilişkin farkındalığına, öğrencilerin şarkı ezgisini doğru seslendirmelerine, öğrencilerin derse ilgisini artırmaya ve öğretmenin ders yapma doyumuna etkisinin nasıl olduğu araştırılmıştır. Araştırma, nitel araştırma yaklaşımlarından eylem araştırması olarak tasarlanmıştır. Araştırmanın katılımcıları, Kocaeli ilinin Kartepe ilçesinde bulunan bir ortaokulda öğrenim görmekte olan 24 öğrenci ile okulun müzik öğretmenidir. Süreçte araştırmacı tarafından gitara uyarlanan okul şarkıları için deneyimli, besteci-gitarist eğitimcilerin görüşleri alınmıştır. Uygulama, dört derslik şarkı öğretimi etkinliği olarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmacının da katılımcı olarak yer aldığı uygulamalarda, öğrenciler ve uygulayıcı öğretmenle yapılan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Uygulama sonrası şarkı söyleme etkinliklerinin video kayıtları yapılmış olup şarkı söyleme performansı gözlem formu geliştirilerek araştırmacı tarafından gözlem yapılmıştır. Görüşme verileri tematik olarak çözümlenmiştir. Geçerlik ve güvenirlik için görüşme verileri iki ayrı araştırmacı tarafından farklı zamanlarda çözümlenmiş; daha sonra birleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada gözlem verileriyle görüşmelerden elde edilen bulgular değerlendirildiğinde; gitara uyarlanmış okul şarkıları müzik derslerinde kullanıldığında öğrencilerin gitara ilişkin farkındalıklarının arttığı; şarkının ezgisini daha iyi duyabilmelerine ve böylece şarkıyı ton içinde seslendirebilmelerine yardımcı olduğu; öğrencilerin çalgı olarak gitara ve müzik dersine ilgilerinin arttığı; uyarlamaların gitarla çoksesli çalınabilmesi sayesinde müzik öğretmeninin dersi daha verimli yürüttüğü ve çalgısını daha etkin kullandığı gibi sonuçlara ulaşılmıştır
In this study, it is argued that the guitar should be used effectively as a musical instrument that can be performed together with melodzey and accompaniment in music lessons. The aim of the study was to adapt the selected school songs to the guitar and to determine the effect of these adaptations on the quality of music lessons. For this purpose, it has been investigated how the music lessons planned with the guitar adapted to the guitar, the awareness of the teachers about the guitar instrument, the students singing the song melody correctly, increasing the interest of the students in the lesson and the effect of the teacher on the course satisfaction. The research was designed as action research from qualitative research approaches. The participants of the study were the music teacher of the school with 24 students in a secondary school in the district of Kartepe in Kocaeli province. In the process, the opinions of experienced, composer-guitarist educators were taken for the school songs adapted to the guitar by the researcher. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with the students and observed singing activities in the practices. Considering the findings obtained from the views of students and teachers in the research, when the school songs were used in music lessons, it has been reached that the students increased their awareness about the guitar, they could hear the tone more clearly and thus to sing the song in tone, students increased interest in the instrument and the music lesson and as the adaptations can be played with the guitar polyphonic, the music teacher teaches the lessons more efficiently and uses the instrument more effectively.
