Özet:

Abstract In this paper, inspired by our participation in a debate about the film “Party Girl”, we intend to problematize issues related to gender, sexuality and the ageing of bodies. To achieve this goal, we will rely on Gender Studies, Cultural Studies and theories by the philosopher Michel Foucault as well as other authors linked to the perspective of post-structuralist analysis. We consider that the controlling of bodies occurs in different ways and, in this article, we will focus on the strategies of power that aim to guide the subjects through certain scripts that intend to normalize the subjects. At the same time, we highlight the main character's resistance to attempts to control her conduct. Such resistance, which is part of the sexuality device, happens in the creation of a life as a work of art that makes up alternative scripts.
