Abstract:

This study aims to examine the impact of companies operating internationally in the Turkish logistics sector, market orientation and strategic choices on export performance. The study, especially for today’s international companies, has studied how the market direction is most necessary, the impact on export performance, the presence of the role of mediator (mediator) of strategic choices and how the interaction between variables is. The universe of the research was identified as 460 companies registered in the International Logistics and Service Manufacturers Association of foreign and Turkish origin operating in the Turkish logistics sector. The research sample was determined by selecting a managing officer from 256 companies and each company that agreed to participate in the research by applying the random sample method. By creating a research model for the intended study, hypotheses related to this model have been developed. The research was made by the managers face-to-face. Analysis of the obtained data was made using the Method of Structural Equality Modeling. Market orientation - in the analysis of the relationships between export performance, it has been determined that strategic choice has an indirect impact and has a complete mediation relationship. Finally, it has been determined how important the strategic choices of international companies in the Turkish logistics sector are and is a very important complement in improving export performance.
