Bu çalışmanın amacı, lise öğrencilerinin bilime yönelik tutumlarının belirlenmesi için bir ölçek geliştirmektir. Bu çalışmada tarama deseni kullanılmıştır. Ölçek geliştirme sürecinde öncelikle alan yazın taraması yapılarak, benzer ölçekler incelenmesiyle 56 maddelik bir madde havuzu oluşturulmuştur. Beşli likert tipinde oluşturulan ölçeğin, geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışmaları yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın örneklemini üç farklı lise türünde eğitim gören 602 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Ölçeğin kapsam geçerliğini sağlamaya yönelik uzman görüşleri alınmıştır. Pearson korelasyon katsayısı değeri ,794 bulunarak ölçeğin ölçüt geçerliği sağlanmıştır. Ölçeğin yapı geçerliğini belirlemek üzere; açımlayıcı ve doğrulayıcı faktör analizleri yapılmış, madde ayırt edicilik indeksleri hesaplanmıştır. Açımlayıcı ve doğrulayıcı faktör analiziyle ‘‘Bilimsel Davranış Sergileme’’, ‘‘Bilim İnsanlarının Özellikleri’’, ‘‘Bilim ve Toplum’’ ve ‘‘Bilimsel Bilginin Özellikleri’’ olmak üzere dört faktörlü ve 27 maddeden oluşan bir yapıya ulaşılmıştır. Doğrulayıcı faktör analizi de açımlayıcı faktör analizi sonuçlarını doğrulamıştır. Ölçeğin güvenirliği için, ölçeğin tamamının ve alt faktörlerin iç tutarlık katsayıları kontrol edilmiştir. Elde edilen Cronbach’s Alpha iç tutarlık katsayısı ölçeğin tümü için, ,874, “Bilimsel Davranış Sergileme” faktörü için ,856, “Bilim İnsanlarının Özellikleri” faktörü için ,703, “Bilim ve Toplum” faktörü için ,753 ve “Bilimsel Bilginin Özellikleri” faktörü için ,780 olarak tespit edilmiştir. Yapılan analizlerle Bilimsel Tutum Ölçeğinin, lise öğrencilerinin bilimsel tutumlarını tespit etmek amacıyla kullanılabilir, geçerli ve güvenilir bir araç olduğu belirlenmiştir.
The aim of this study is to develop a scale for determining high school students’ attitudes towards science. In this work, the screenshots were used. In the process of scale development, first of all, the area was scanned in summer, with the study of similar scales, a 56-matter material pool was created. The scale, validity and reliability studies of the five-like type of liquid were performed. The sample of the study consists of 602 students studying in three different kinds of high school. Experts have been given advice to ensure the scope of the scale. The Pearson correlation ratio is 794 and the measurement validity of the scale is provided. Analysis of the distinctive and verifying factors for determining the structure validity of the measurement, the substance distinctive index is calculated. With the analysis of the obvious and verifying factors, a structure of four factors and 27 articles has been achieved, including "Scientific Behavior Exhibition", "The Characteristics of Scientists", "Science and Society" and "The Characteristics of Scientific Knowledge". The verifying factor analysis also confirmed the results of the verifying factor analysis. For the reliability of the scale, the internal consistency ratings of the entire scale and the subfactors have been checked. The Cronbach’s internal consistency ratio for the entire scale, 874, for the “Scientific Behavioral Exposure” factor, 856, for the “Scientific Man’s Characteristics” factor, 703, for the “Science and Society” factor, 753 and for the “Scientific Knowledge Characteristics” factor, 780 were identified. The scientific attitude scale is a useful, valid and reliable tool for high school students to identify their scientific attitudes.
