Bu araştırmada, okul öncesi dönem çocuklarına okutulması önerilen “Eşit Masallar Serisi” adlı kitaplarda kök değerlere yer verilme durumunu analiz etmek amaçlanmıştır. Nitel araştırma yönteminin kullanıldığı bu araştırmada, veri toplamak için doküman analizi tekniği tercih edilmiş; araştırmada Can Sanat Yayınevi’ne ait “Eşit Masallar Serisi” içerisinde bulunan kitaplar, değer iletimi açısından incelenmiştir. Verilerin analizinde betimsel analiz yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Millî Eğitim Bakanlığı tarafından 2018 yılında öğretim programlarında öğrencilere kazandırılması için kök değerler olarak belirtilen “Adalet, Dostluk, Dürüstlük, Öz Denetim, Sabır, Saygı, Sevgi, Sorumluluk, Vatanseverlik, Yardımseverlik” değerleri ile ilgili eserde yer alan ifadeler belirlenmiş, ardından bu ifadeler yorumlanarak ilgili değerin başlığı altında açıklanmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda; “Eşit Masallar Serisi” içerisinde en fazla yer alan değerin yardımseverlik değeri olduğu, bunu sırasıyla, dostluk, öz denetim, sorumluluk, adalet, dürüstlük, saygı ve sevgi değerleri izlerken, sabır ve vatanseverlik değerlerinin en az yer verilen kök değerler olduğu görülmüştür. Seri içerisinde yer alan kitaplar tek tek ele alındığında, her bir kitapta vurgulanan kök değerin farklı olduğu bazı kök değerlere hiç yer verilmediği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Serinin devamı olabilecek kitaplarda kök değerlerin dengeli bir dağılım göstermesine dikkat edilmesi önerilebilir
This study aims to analyze the status of root values included in books called "Equal Tales Series" that are recommended to be taught to pre-school children. In this study, which uses the quality research method, the document analysis technique was preferred to collect data; in the study, the books in the "Equal Tales Series" belonging to the Can Art Publisher were studied in terms of value transmission. Imaginary analysis method is used in the analysis of data. The statements included in the work regarding the values of "Justice, Friendship, Honesty, Self-Control, Patience, Respect, Love, Responsibility, Patrioticity, Assistance" specified as root values to be awarded to students in 2018 by the Ministry of Education, then these statements were explained under the title of the relevant values. The study found that the value most included in the "Equal Tales Series" is the value of utility, which, accordingly, followed by the values of friendship, self-control, responsibility, justice, honesty, respect and love, the values of patience and patriotism are the root values that are at least included. When the books in the series are addressed individually, it is concluded that some root values are not given any place, where the root value emphasized in each book is different. It may be recommended that the roots in the books that may be continued show a balanced distribution of the root values.
In this research, it is aimed to analyze the situation of including root values in the books called “Eşit Masallar Serisi” which are recommended to be taught to preschool children. Qualitative research method was used in the research and document analysis technique was preferred to collect data. In the research, the books in the “Eşit Masallar Serisi” belonging to Can Sanat Publishing House were examined in terms of value transmission. Descriptive analysis method was used in the analysis of the data. The expressions in this study related to the values of "Justice, Friendship, Honesty, Self-Control, Patience, Respect, Love, Responsibility, Patriotism, Benevolence", which were specified as the root values to be taught by the Ministry of National Education in 2018, were determined, and then these expressions were interpreted and explained under the heading of the relevant value. As a result of the research; It has been seen that the value that is most mentioned in the “Eşit Masallar Serisi” is the value of benevolence, followed by the values of friendship, self-control, responsibility, justice, honesty, respect and love, respectively. But the values of patience and patriotism are the least given root values. When the books in the series are considered one by one, it has been concluded that the root value emphasized in each book is different and some root values are not included at all. It may be recommended to pay attention to a balanced distribution of root values in the books that may be the continuation of the series.
