Abstract In order to resist, understand and cope with the uncertainties in life, people rely on religion, and belief, because religion is an important tool that gives meaning to human life. Man establishes a historical, political, and theological connection with religion in order to accept the power of power, to obey his authority or to cope with it. Interaction with religion in the fields of power directly reveals political theology as a historical and sociological reality. In every phase of the political history of humanity, religion always appears as a "theopolitics" process built with myths. Political theology includes all kinds of relations between politics, religion and the state/power mechanism. It moves from concepts such as miracles, faith, obedience, and God and offers people metaphysical information about social issues. Political theology is a tool that influences the institutions of power in many societies and provides them with legitimacy and stability. This tool legitimizes the use of political and legal power, glorifies political power, and reinforces existing authority. In this sense, political theology is the cement of many societies and states in which it was born. Although the power and influence of political theology differ periodically, it is possible to observe traces of political theology at all levels, from Ancient Greece to the Middle Ages, from the nation-state to the modern democratic order. Even in the periods when the Enlightenment, secularism, revolutionary movements, and modernism were said to eliminate the bond between religion and power, political theology somehow became a recipe for the liberation of the opponent. Towards the end of the 19th century, the bond of the political with theology was reestablished as a result of the crisis experienced by modernism. As a result, it seems difficult to say that political theology does not exist at some point in our lives today as it did yesterday.
