This study was carried out in order to examine the scientific studies prepared on the authentic learning approach, to make analyzes according to various variables, to contribute to the knowledge in the field and to create a reference point for future researches. The systematic review method, one of the scientific research methods, was used in the study. Data were collected by document analysis. Document analysis includes the analysis of written materials that contain information about the facts and phenomena that are aimed to be investigated. Between 2010 and 2020, 59 studies on the authentic learning approach were examined. After the findings were analyzed and they were presented in percentage (%) and frequency (f) tables. As a result of the research, it has been found that the most of the studies are carried out with a mixed approach, students and teacher candidates are preferred more as the study group, the data collection tools vary in each study, and mostly the secondary school level is studied. It was observed that mostly Turkish sources were used in master's theses, and foreign references were used more in doctoral theses and articles. At the end of the research, suggestions were made such that it could be studied in preschool and graduate school, more data could be collected not only from students and teachers, but also from other stakeholders in education, and generally accepted reference sources could be included more.
