of Turkey, II. Although he did not enter the World War, he was affected by all kinds of war and tried to fit the new world order that formed after the war. Turkey has decided to move into a multi-party life with the influence of internal and external dynamics revealed by the war. The Democratic Party was founded on 7 January 1946 by a group of oppositionists from the CHP as a product of this new world order. The Democratic Party, which began its organizing work throughout the country, opened its branch in the Army six months after its establishment. The Democratic Party failed to succeed in the military in the general elections of 1946 shortly after its establishment. At the general elections in 1950, the Republic defeated the People's Party and took power. So the Democratic Party, which ended the single-party period of 27 years, became a multi-party life. But in the local army, a situation has emerged in the whole country, and the Democratic Party has not achieved a significant success here. This study examined the organization of the Democratic Party in the Army and the process of the 1950 elections. During the investigation, the documents in the Presidential State Archives were used from local newspapers, parliamentary archives and other printed sources.
