Purpose: In today’s technology age, the place of portable and easily accessible devices in our lives is increasing every day. Technology plays an active role in the lives of children as well as adults. Our study aimed at detecting exposure times to mobile screens such as TV, tablet or mobile phone in children between 0 and 7 years of age who apply to our clinics. Instrument and Method: This study, which is defining and cutting-edge, was conducted including 300 parents with a child of 0-84 months who applying to the educational and research clinics of the Ankara Education and Research Hospital between May 15 and August 2017. The original survey, which was prepared by us, consisted of 15 questions to assess the exposure to the mobile screen of children, has been applied to parents with the face-to-face interview technique, which is already selective and empty. Results: 22 (7.3%) of the children taken in the study did not detect any mobile screen exposure. 278 (92.7%) of children found that they were actively using mobile screen devices such as TV, computer, tablet and phone. 71 of the children (23.6 percent) had their own tablet. The number of tablets and phones used increased with age (p<0,001). Result: The children who participated in the study had an average of 2 hours of mobile screen exposure a day. More than half of the people use the mobile screen for play; while while eating or before sleep, they have more time watching TV. The exposition to the mobile screen is so much that it can cause unwanted consequences, negatively affecting the development of the child.
