Koca Râgıp Paşa olarak bilinen Râgıp Mehmet Paşa, Klasik Türk edebiyatının son dönemlerinin önemli sanatçılarından ve devlet adamlarından birisidir. Râgıp Paşa’nın hayatı, eserleri ve şahsiyeti hakkında birçok araştırma yapılmıştır. Şüphesiz onun en önemli eseri Dîvânı’dır. Sosyal yaşamında renkli bir kişiliğe sahip olan Râgıp Paşa’nın ilmî, edebî tarzda ve tercüme tarzında eserleri vardır. Râgıp Paşa’ya ait olan telif eserlere bakıldığında edebi, ansiklopedik ve bilimsel özellikte olduğu görülür. Tercüme eserleri ise daha çok tarih içeriklidir. Kaynaklarda yazara ait Mecmu’a-yı Râgıp Paşa adında bir de mecmua bulunmaktadır. Söz konusu mecmuada Arapça, Farsça ve Türkçe manzum ve mensur edebi yazılar yer almaktadır. Makalemizin konusu olan ve aynı adı taşıyan eserin içerik bakımından faklı konularda yazıldığı görülmektedir. Mecmuada üç risale yer almaktadır: Risâle-yi Vasf-ı Nebî, Risâle-yi Letâyif ve Risâle-yi Telhisân-ı Râgıb. Birinci bölümde, peygamberin özellikleri anlatılmıştır ve eser bir mevlit özelliği taşımaktadır. İkinci bölümde, Sultan III. Ahmed’in Mora seferi anlatılmıştır. Son bölümde ise Râgıp Paşa’nın devrinde çeşitli sorunlar hakkında yazdığı notlar yer almaktadır. Döneminin entelektüel isimlerinden biri olan Râgıp Paşa, kendi adına bir de kütüphane yaptırmıştır.
Koca Râgıp Pasha, known as Koca Râgıp Pasha, is one of the important artists and state men of the last periods of classical Turkish literature. A lot of research has been done about the life, works and personality of Râgıp Pasha. His most important work is the Divine. Râgıp Pasha, who has a colourful personality in social life, has works in scientific, literary and translation style. When looking at the authorship works that belong to Râgıp Pasha, it appears to be literary, encyclopedic and scientific. The translations are more historical. There is a book in the name of the author, and there is a book in the name of the author. In this book, Arabic, Persian and Turkish manuscripts and human literary writings are included. The subject of our article and the work with the same name appears to be written in terms of content. There are three kinds of righteousness: the righteous, the righteous, the righteous, the righteous, and the righteous. In the first chapter, the characteristics of the Prophet are described and the work has a present character. In the second part, Sultan III. The story of Ahmed’s Morah was told. In the last chapter there are notes about the various problems of the period of Râgıp Pasha. Râgıp Paşa, one of the intellectual names of his time, built a library on his own behalf.
