Abstract:

The aim of this study is to investigate whether the management skills of school managers in educational institutions affect the satisfaction of life of school employees. The research and management skills of school managers are aimed at analysing by statistical methods how employees affect life satisfaction, what level they affect, what these factors are, what the structure of the relationship between demographic characteristics and life satisfaction levels, what the problems that prevent life satisfaction can be, and the proposals for scientifically qualified solutions to the problems encountered. Method - This study has been used by the relative scanning model. Relational scanning studies usually reveal the relationships between two or more variables. Theoretically, this study has been based on the method of tuberculosis and the relationships between the hypotheses determined in the framework of the assumptions have been analyzed. The study was carried out in the private primary education institutions that continue their activities in the province of Istanbul in order to investigate the effects of the management skills of school managers on the life satisfaction of employees. 1360 Teachers working in 34 Primary Schools in Beylikdüzde forms the universe of research. 528 of these teachers were selected by random sampling method. To analyze the data obtained from the surveys used for the research, reliability, factor, data, correlation and regression analyses have been applied. Results - The result of regression analyses for this study; responsibility, other skills and qualities have been found not to affect life satisfaction; in addition, management skills, technical skills have been found to affect life satisfaction. Discussions - Teachers can experience intense stress and pressure on teachers who are communicating with students all day towards their life satisfactions and are trying to ensure that they grow up. Teachers are unable to develop themselves in terms of knowledge, professional qualifications and skills, they can face obstacles in the rise of life satisfaction. Therefore, the life satisfaction of teachers working with the management skills of school managers in educational institutions can be discussed by an impressive relationship in the positive or negative direction. The fact that teachers are in good condition in terms of their social status, economic conditions, and the management skills of school managers can have a positive impact on their life satisfaction.
