Constructivist movement representatives, who revealed that social factors such as identity, perception, ideas and norms are the main factors that structure the foreign policies of states and international politics, drew attention to the social dimension of international relations. The main purpose of this study in which historical-descriptive method is used The theory of constructivism is to evaluate the argument that "the identity formed as a result of social interactions has an effect on the interests and foreign policies of the actors" based on the Islamism policy implemented in the last period of the Ottoman Empire. First of all, Constructivist theory will be dealt with conceptually and theoretically and the concept of identity will be emphasized. In the second stage, the current and policy of Islamism will be given briefly, and the formation of Islamic identity and its application in foreign policy will be discussed. In the result section The impact of Islamic identity on the interest identification and foreign policy of the Empire will be discussed.
