The Ahidnames that are the most important resources of Ottoman diplomacy, are the documents which contains some grants given to foreign countries by Ottoman Sultans. In these ahidnames, there are the agreements signed by Ottoman Empire and other countries, general features and articles of agreements and also informations about commercial grants given to other countries. For this reason, to determine the source of information in firsthand, these documents must be examined and evaluated. Thus there are some elements in these ahidnames and the phrases, diplomatic language and wording used in these elements can be changed from one ahidname to another. Therefore, Ottoman ahidnames are not only the documents that contain agreement articles but also they help us about the determination of changes in Ottoman diplomacy. Our works are prepared for the purpose of ascertainment of these aims and presentation of diplomatic features of ahidnames. For this, 1699 Treaty of Karlowitz which is one of the most important agreement of Ottoman history, is choosen. According to this, the ahidnames done inKarlowitz with Venice, Lehistan (Poland) and Russia, have been examined. Our main aim is to examine the articles of same agreement trough three different countries and to reflect the changes on Ottoman diplomacy by comparing the diplomatic elements in ahidnames. Therefore, firstly treaty text has been transcribed, later ahidnames are evaluated in terms of diplomatic, and comparison was made
