Özet:

In this article, it is examined how Hollywood cinema, which is one of the factors that cause religious and cultural transformation, establishes a world and how it may lead the audience into hyperreality. The display of images and experiences different than real life in the Hollywood world tells us that cinema plays a very important role in the construction of secular hyperreality. Because, the audience who perceives certain points from different movies will be able to internalize the fake fiction of the cinema by combining the meanings in his mind. Therefore, the main purpose of our article which considers the deep effects of movies on human life is to contribute to the questioning of various aspects of the world we live in along with a correct criticism of the movie. The movies in the article are selected and evaluated primarily in terms of their approach to religion, but mostly because they are popular and because they are shown on television and attract the attention of the audience. These movies have been watched within the framework of different methods, primarily with discourse analysis and examples are given considering their prominent aspects. Thus, it is tried to reveal Hollywood's main manipulative infrastructure with a general perspective by the induction method and a mentality analysis was carried out by combining elements with different aspects in each movie. In addition, some examples from movies that stand out from the world cinema in terms of their negative effects are also given.
