Abstract:

LARENKS CANCER is the second most common cancer among all headache cancers and is a major cause of morbidity and mortality. Suprakricoid larenectomy surgery is an effective method of treatment that allows the function of the larynx to beined as much as possible. In our study, we will share the histopathological parameters and oncological results of the open parcial larynx surgical cases in our clinic in the last 10 years. Method and Requirements: From January 2009 to July 2019, the data of 47 patients in our clinic that were diagnosed histopathologically with larynx flat cell carcinoma and submitted supracricoid larynxectomy surgery were retrospective examined. The sociodemographic characteristics of patients, the histopathological characteristics of tumor sperm and survival analyses were taken to be assessed. FUNCTIONS: In 29 patients (61.7%) early stages of larynx cancer have been detected, and in 18 (38.3%) advanced stages of larynx cancer are present. Larenx cancer in 29 cases (61.7%) is glottic localized and lymphatic node retention is significantly less detected in glottic localized cases (p< 0.001). The overall 5-year survival was 74.5%, while the overall 5-year survival was 88.5 and 69.2 per cent in early and advanced phases. The two most important measures in the assessment of the success of treatment in the treatment of Larenx cancer are the survival time and the continuity of the organ function. Larenectomy is one of the important tools in the treatment of larynx cancers. When surgery is adhered to the technical and oncological rules, it is possible to ensure permanent healing in patients by preserving a functional larynx in appropriate patients.
