Abstract:

 Bulaşıcı hastalıklar, tarih boyunca insan hayatını tehlikeye sokan eden önemli sağlık problemleri olmuştur. Göç ve savaşların etkisiyle hızla yayılan bu hastalıklar, neden oldukları can kayıplarıyla toplumlar için büyük tehlike arz etmişlerdir. İnsanoğlunun tarihi süreç içerisinde yaşadığı en tehlikeli ve ölümcül salgınlardan birisi de koleradır. Bu makalenin amacı tarihsel süreç içerisinde kolera salgınlarının Türkiye Cumhuriyeti’ne saldırılarını incelemektir. Stratejik konumundan dolayı Türkiye ve çevresi tarihin her döneminde salgın hastalıkların sıklıkla yaşandığı bir bölge olmuştur.

Abstract:

Infectious diseases have been major health problems that have threatened human life throughout history. These diseases, which spread rapidly under the influence of migrations and wars, have caused a great danger for societies with their lives. One of the dangerous and fatal epidemics that humanity has experienced in the historic process is cholera. The purpose of this article is to study the attacks of cholera epidemics on the Republic of Turkey in the historic process. Due to its strategic position, Turkey and its surroundings have been a region where epidemic diseases have been frequently experienced in every period of history.
