Ekoloji ile psikoloji kavramlarını bir arada değerlendiren Ekopsikoloji kavramının özellikle son yıllarda yoğun kentleşme, hızlı sanayileşme, arazilerin vasfı dışında kullanımı gibi çevre üzerinde olumsuz etkiler yaratan faaliyetler nedeni ile gelişme gösteren bir çalışma alanı olduğu görülmektedir.Çalışmada önemi her geçen gün artan Ekopsikoloji kavramının ne zaman, nasıl, nerede ve kimler tarafından değerlendirilmeye başlandığı, öne çıkan kavramların neler olduğu ve birbirleri ile ilişkileri açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Çalışma evreni olarak Web of Science (WOS) veri tabanı belirlenmektedir. Bibliyometrik analiz aracılığı ile sıklıkla kullanılan anahtar kelimeler, yazarlar, atıf alma durumu, yayınların gerçekleştiği ülkeler ve dergiler bazında birbirileriyle ilişkilerini ortaya çıkaracak analizler yapılmıştır.Bilimsel dökümanların yayınlandığı dergilerin konu kapsamları değerlendirildiğinde ekopsikolojinin, ekoloji ve psikoloji disiplinleri ile birlikte peyzaj mimarlığı, şehir plancılığı dahil olmak üzere çok disiplinli bir çalışma alanı olduğunu söylemek mümkün olmaktadır.WOS veri tabanında ekopsikoloji kavramı ile ilgili günümüze kadar 353 dökümanın yer aldığı, bu dökümanların253'ünün bilimsel makale türünde olduğu ve 43 makale ile en fazla yayının 2020 yılında yapıldığı tespit edilmiştir. 497 atıf sayısı ile en fazla atıfın Journal of Environmental Psychology dergisine yapıldığı, en sık kullanılan anahtar kelimelerin ölçek, sağlık ve davranış kelimelerinin olduğu belirlenmiştir. Konu ile ilgili çalışmaların son yıllarda artış eğiliminde olduğu görülmektedir. Özellikle 2017 yılından itibaren çalışma konusu ile ilgili bilimsel makale sayısının istikrar kazandığı, özellikle Amerika Birleşik Devletleri'nde çalışma konusu ile ilgili bilimsel araştırma yapma eğiliminin yüksek olduğu belirlenmektedir.

It is known that the concept of Ecopsychology, which evaluates the concepts of ecology and psychology together, is a field of study that has developed especially in recent years due to activities that have negative effects on the environment, such as intense urbanization, rapid industrialization, and the use of lands outside of their qualification The study tried to tried to explain when, how, where and by whom the concept of Ecopsychology, whose importance is increasing daily, began to be evaluated, what the main concepts were, and their relations with each other. The Web of Science (WOS) database is determined as the study universe. Through bibliometric analyses revealed their relations based on frequently used keywords, authors, citation status, journals, and the countries where the publication occurred. When the scope of the journals in which scientific documents are published is evaluated, it is possible to say that ecopsychology is a multidisciplinary field of study, including landscape architecture and urban planning as well as ecology and psychology disciplines. It has been determined that 353 documents related to the concept of ecopsychology have been included in the WOS database to date, 253 of these documents are in the form of scientific articles, and the most publications were made in 2020 with 43 articles. With 497 citations, the highest number of citations was to the Journal of Environmental Psychology, and the most frequently used keywords were scale, health and behavior. It is seen that studies on the subject have tended to increase in recent years. It has been determined that the number of scientific articles on the study subject has stabilized especially since 2017. The tendency to conduct scientific research on the subject is high, especially in the United States.
