Abstract:

The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze postgraduate thesis works in the field of Taekwondo, focusing on various variables, and provide guiding information to researchers in terms of thesis and abstract writing by reminding them of specific criteria. This study is important in demonstrating the overall status of postgraduate thesis abstracts in the field of Taekwondo by analyzing the theses conducted in this area. Research questions, which constitute the first step of content analysis, are significant in order to prevent aimless practices. Therefore, the purpose of the analysis should be clearly stated. For this purpose, a basic level literature review should be conducted. Through literature review, previous research studies are examined, facilitating the identification of the research problem. Additionally, this process helps determine the research question. The researcher personally decides what is worth investigating in their study and which questions are more interesting and meaningful in this context. What matters is that the researcher clearly expresses their theoretical thoughts on which their assumptions are based.
