Bu çalışma Bayburt Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Sınıf Öğretmenliği 4. Sınıf öğrencilerinin eğitim, öğretim ve bilim işkolundaki sendikalar ve etkinliklerine ilişkin düşüncelerini ortaya koymayı amaçlayan tarama modelinde bir araştırmadır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2010-2011 öğretim yılı bahar döneminde Bayburt Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Sınıf Öğretmenliği 4. sınıfta öğrenim görmekte olan 34 (11 kız, 23 erkek) öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Çalışmada, araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Öğrencilerin sorulara verdikleri cevaplar doğrultusunda kodlama yapılmış ve elde edilen verilerin frekansları bulunmuştur. Veriler betimsel analiz yöntemiyle çözümlenmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgulara dayalı olarak, öğretmen adaylarının sendikalar ve çalışmalarına ilişkin bazı yanlış bilgilere ve olumsuz düşüncelere sahip olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Öğrenciler genel olarak sendikaları gerekli bulurken aynı zamanda bu kurumları yalnızca kendi çıkarları için çalışan örgütler olarak değerlendirmektedirler. Diğer yandan, öğrenciler sendikal etkinlikleri genel olarak olumlu karşılamakta ancak bunlara doğrudan katılmayı ya da desteklemeyi düşünmemektedirler.
This study is based on the Bayburt University School of Education Class 4. It is a scanning model that aims to reveal the thoughts of class students about their trade unions and activities in education, teaching and scientific work. The study group formed 34 (11 girls, 23 men) students who were studying in the 4th grade of the Bayburt University School of Education in the spring period 2010-2011. In the study, the interview form developed by the researchers was used. The frequency of the data was coded and obtained according to the students’ answers to the questions. The data is analyzed by an analytical method. Based on the findings obtained from the study, the conclusion was that the teacher candidates had some misinformation and negative opinions about their trade unions and work. While students generally find trade unions necessary, they also assess these institutions as organizations that work only for their own interests. On the other hand, students are generally positive to trade union activities but do not consider to participate or support them directly.
