Measuring and ranking the macroeconomic performance of a country is important in determining the economic policies to be implemented. The aim of this study is to measure and to rank the annual macroeconomic performance of Turkey in the 2002-2019 period. In the study, TOPSIS method, one of the multi-criteria decision making methods, was used to rank the macroeconomic performance. In the TOPSIS method, performance criteria are economically inflation, unemployment and current account balance variables. Economic growth, inflation, unemployment and current account variables are determined as performance criteria for the TOPSIS method. Kaldorian, Keynesian and Heterodox approaches were used in weighting the criteria. According to the findings, the best macroeconomic performance is 2002 and the worst is 2008 in terms of Kaldor and Heterodox approaches. When analyzed periodically, the best macroeconomic performance occurred in the period of 2002-2005, and the worst in the period of 2008-2009.
