Abstract:

The Persians, who began the process of political organization by ending Med's sovereignty, in time became a world empire. One of the greatest sources of income of this civilization, which is magnificent in all respects, was the taxes it obtained from the areas it took to the sovereignty. The gathered taxes are intended to contribute to the financial budget and the continuity of power. When a serious management mechanism and the existence of sub-units is needed in accordance with that goal, the management areas (dahyava) and the responsible officers (xšaça-pā-vān) are created in this context. Information, names, duties and duties relating to the state and state officials associated with the center have been attempted to be transmitted in this work. Even though the Persian Empire has a broad sovereignty, there is no general method of governance in the administrative areas, a naturalized administrative system is created in accordance with the existing socio-economic conditions. The fact that the system covers a wide geography also provides information about the width of the boundaries. by M. After the Urartu State, which ruled from the 9th century to the 6th century, a period of political emptiness in the Eastern Anatolian region has occurred. The present Eastern Anadolu region, which was called Armenia in the ancient times, was directly transferred to the Persian administration as a result of the fall of the Meds from power. The Eastern Anatolian Region has been included in the rule of the Persian Empire, which this time will exist on the historical stage for two hundred years. The region's geography and status are transmitted according to records, drawings and modern sources kept by ancient authors. The Persian administration mechanism and functioning followed in the eastern Anadolu region within the state system was discussed in the article.
