INTRODUCTION: Apert syndrome is a form of acrocephalosyndactyly, a congenital disorder characterized by malformations of the skull, face, hands and feet. A key feature of the apert syndrome is the premature closure of bones of the skull. This early fusion prevents the skull from growing normally and effects the shape of the head and face. AIM: To assess the knowledge of apert syndrome among dental students MATERIALS AND METHODS: A survey based questionnaire was prepared through google forms and circulated via WhatsApp. A total response of 100 was collected and the results were analysed using SPSS statistical software. RESULTS : Based on the survey, it is inferred that around 47% of the dental students were aware about the apert syndrome CONCLUSION: From the study , it can be concluded that there is some awareness about the apert syndrome among dental students and the multiple phenotypic signs of apert syndrome make multidisciplinary team , essential for successful management
