This survey was carried out in Turkey that ranks eight in the world and sixth in Europe with its high speed train project. The survey aims to determine the extent to which high speed train (HST) passengers are satisfied with high speed train and the services these passengers receieve. This survey also attempts to shed light on how public perceives the new transportation strategies developed by authorities in Turkey. Data were collected through questionnaires applied to 762 passengers of high speed train. The findings of the ANOVA and T tests suggest that passengers are mostly content with the cleanliness of the seats and smiling and helpful manners of the staff. The issues involving satisfaction or complaint are independent of variables such as gender, age, and income whilst these issues hold importance with respect to occupation, education and travel purposes of passengers. In addition, the findings of the survey reveal that travel class is an important factor in determining customer satisfaction.
