Qualified literary works appear to the reader as a tool that demonstrates the word existence of the mother tongue, which demonstrates the meaning of the tongue, its nature, its expression power and its possibilities. The work is so successful as it uses all the possibilities of the mother tongue. The existence of the word in a work is also one of the main sources that will give clues about the time the work is taken. The existence of the word, which is the concrete existence of the language, plays an effective role in the formation of thoughts about the period in which the work is written, even in the observation of the possibilities of the language and in the transmission of the language and the characteristics of the narrative to the future generations. Therefore, the presence of the word that a work has is one of the important stakeholders that introduces the language to the readers. The novel "The Little Man" consists of two works. The first work of the series, "Father's House", was studied in terms of existence. With this work, Orhan Kemal’s “Little Man’s Novel” series “Avare Years” has been studied in terms of the word existence, as well as the nature of the series, which can be used in Turkish education and teaching. The study used the document examination technique; the data was revealed by the filing technique. The conclusion was made that the work found to be quite rich in terms of work and word existence contained more examples than the first work of the series; it was suggested that the work could also be among the works that can be used in Turkish education and teaching.

The vocabulary in a work is also one of the main sources that will give clues about the period in which the work was written. Vocabulary, which is the tangible existence of language; plays an active role in the formation of ideas about the period in which the work was written, in seeing the possibilities of the language, and in transferring the language and its expressive features to future generations. Therefore, the vocabulary of a work is one of the important stakeholders that introduce the language to the readers. The "Küçük Adamın Romanı" series consists of two works. The first work of the series, "Baba Evi", has been examined in terms of vocabulary. With this study, it was emphasized that the work named "Avare Yıllar" in Orhan Kemal's "Küçük Adamın Roman" was examined in terms of its vocabulary, as well as its ability to be used in Turkish education and teaching. Document analysis technique was used in the study; the data were revealed by the filing technique. It was concluded that the work, which was found to be quite rich in terms of vocabulary, contains more examples than the first work of the series; It has been suggested that the work can be among the works that can be used in Turkish education and teaching.
