One of the most basic stages in the assessment of self-judicial facts is the access to the evidence in the place of the incident in the "in situ" form. However, because each country’s approach to the location of the incident is different, it may face disadvantaged situations when the judicial evidence is obtained. The presence of specialists who have been trained in judicial archaeology in the site investigation teams keeps the light of the case analysis by allowing the remains of judicial importance to be captured by scientific approaches. Because archaeological techniques are mostly applied to the removal of stainless remains, the importance of these techniques is great in terms of legal anthropological applications. Judicial anthropology is a discipline of science that contributes to identification by studying the findings in the skeletal remains, which supports different approaches in laboratory analyses if necessary in the study of the location of the event. In judicial anthropological facts, reliable results are obtained by assessing the remains without damages, along with the context they belong to. According to the characteristics of the sites and cases, using different archaeological techniques, the burial areas can be identified, the remains of the skeleton can be reached by scientific approaches. However, archaeology is present to us as a relatively new branch of science. It is important to find experts who have grown up in this field and the governments are aware of this. In addition to the usual archaeological mining techniques, it is also recommended that different technological vehicles be tested in this area. In this regard, it is necessary to support and develop judiciary archaeology within judiciary sciences. This study aims to emphasize the importance of the use of archaeological techniques in judicial contexts in the light of practices and examples evaluated internationally. The presence of experts who have trained in forensic archaeology in the crime scene investigation teams, sheds light on case studies by providing scientific approaches to the remains of forensic importance. Due to the fact that archaeological techniques are mostly used in the removal of skeletal remains, these techniques are of great importance in terms of forensic anthropological practices. Forensic anthropology is a branch of science that contributes to identification by examining the findings of skeletal remains and supports different approaches in both crime scene investigations and laboratory analysis. In forensic anthropological cases, reliable results are obtained from the evaluation of the remains with the context of which they belong without damage. Burial areas can be identified by using different archaeological techniques according to the characteristics of the crime scenes and cases. Thus, skeletal remains can be reached through scientific approaches.  However, forensic archaeology is a relatively new branch of science. In addition to the traditional archaeological excavation techniques, it is also recommended that different technological tools be tested in this field. In this respect, forensic archaeology needs to be supported and developed in forensic sciences. In this study, it is aimed to emphasize the importance of the use of archaeological techniques in forensic contexts in the light of internationally evaluated practices and case studies.
