Introduction/Purpose: Granular cell tumor is a rare benign soft tissue neoplasm of uncertain histogenesis commonly encountered in the head and neck region. It has been generally seen in adult patients and rarely reported in the pediatric and adolescent population. Case report: A case of granular cell tumor localized in soft tissue of right thigh is reported. A 13-year-old girl presented with a painful mass of one year duration. Magnetic resonance imagig examination revealed a wellcircumscribed, poorly vascularised, solid soft tissue tumor. A total excision was performed. Microscopically, the tumor was composed of sheets and clusters of round to polygonal cells with an abundant amount of granular cytoplasm and centrally located pycnotic nucleus. Immunostaining for S-100 protein showed diffuse granular cytoplasmic positivity
