Abstract:

Islamic belief and culture is the most important source of literature. Topics such as death, the hereafter, apocalypse, armageddon, sirat, heaven and hell are frequently discussed especially in religious genres. In the period called as Old Anatolian Turkish, these types were frequently used in terms of explaining and teaching Islam to the public. The religious-moral and mystical works of this period, written in plain language; Mesnevi are works written between 100-500 couplets in verse form, whose author is unknown. These texts, which are usually listed one after another in the same manuscript; There are many technical defects such as spelling, meter and rhyme. The subject of this study is; It is a work written in mesnevi verse form that tells about the life of the hereafter, gives information about death and post-death life in Islam with advice and descriptions, maintains the linguistic features of the Old Anatolian Turkish period even though it is understood that it is derived from the late period. It is included in a manuscript that includes religious texts. This mesnevi, which is thought to take its place among the religious types as a result of the study; It was introduced with its shape and content features and transferred to Latin letters. In addition, a facsimile of the mesnevi has been added to the end of the study to assist in the creation of a full text publication.
