In this study, it was aimed to investigate the relationship between food literacy and healthy lifestyle behaviors. This research is a cross-sectional field study and the sample of the study consists of 210 students studying at Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University Faculty of Health Sciences. Demographic information form, Perceived Food Literacy Scale, and Healthy Lifestyle Behaviors Scale II were used to collect data. As a result of the findings, it was found that the students' healthy lifestyle behaviors (x̄ ± sd= 133±11.2) and food literacy (x̄ ± sd= 92±6.9) were moderate. It was found that students' gender, age, education level, department, and BMI were not significantly associated with both food literacy and healthy lifestyle behaviors. In addition, it was concluded that students' food literacy and healthy lifestyle behaviors were weakly positively correlated (r =.322, p <.01). As a result of the research, it was found that food literacy affects healthy lifestyle behaviors (R²= .09, p<0.001) and according to the regression model, food literacy explains 9.9% of healthy lifestyle behaviors.
